Tips and Tricks for October

For our older charges, school is back in full swing, while the little ones get used to the cooler weather. Here are some ideas to keep them busy as we head into fall.

  • For little ones who can handle scissors and paste, have a DIY Halloween costume party. Gather materials like construction paper, glitter, and colored foam and make your own masks.
  • Nature walk: Did you know that red and purple fall leaves have more sugar than their yellow counterparts? Take a stroll and see what your charges notice about the changing seasons.
  • Have other fall ideas? Post them on the blog!

In the Market for a Nanny Cam?

Yes, it's a complicated issue. Do you, don't you? As experts in the nanny industry, we've searched high and low to find the very best solution for families and nannies alike, and we think we have.

Take a look at the reasons why we suggest the Homesight Home Monitoring System and check out our new website, BestNannyCam.com.

Another Expert Joins Our Panel: Welcome Bob King!

Navigating the legal and financial aspects of employing a nanny can be a challenge. How do you handle overtime? How confidential are the things that go on in your home? What about taxes and payroll?

Luckily there are experts who can help. As an attorney and founder of Legally Nanny, Bob King is one of the leaders in the field. Please join us in welcoming him and check out his bio on the site.

Building a Better Background Check

When it comes to hiring the right nanny for your family, comprehensive background checks are a must. As a former nanny and mother of two, I can tell you that from experience. To help you with this important step in the hiring process, we’ve partnered with one of the leading background-screening services in the industry, and now offer Drug Screening in addition to other background checks.
