A Discussion Group meets and talks via email.  Members send their messages to one central address and the message is forwarded to all members of the group.  This website utilizes the Yahoogroups.com website which hosts several "nanny related" discussion groups as well as thousands of other groups.  When you join a Discussion Group you have 2 membership options.  You can receive emails individually as they are sent by members or you can receive a "Daily Digest" in which the days messages are grouped together in one email.  There are a few rules members need to abide by when joining any group.  One is that it is considered poor manors to "lurk" as they say.  This means to listen in but never write to the group. Members should make an effort to introduce themselves promptly and contribute to the conversations from time to time.   Members can unsubscribe at any time by sending an email to yahoogroups.  These instructions are available upon joining.
